Default ? on tire size

Right now I'm running 215/35/19 and I want something a little thicker. Right now it feels like I'm driving on my rim which I'm not. I want to go up one or two sizes but not sure about rubbing issues.

yea you could have, but thats in the past now, there's now way now that you can go w/ a taller tire size w/ 19" wheels. If you were on 18" wheels then i would have recommended you go w/ a 40 tall tire.

Thank you, didn't even think about it. Before I got my rims I was using that tread as a guide.

My box right now has stock suspension and I'm not going to lower it. So if I go with a 225/40/19 will it rub a lot?

Having 19s comes at a cost. Sorry, can't have it both ways...

There is a solution. It's called 17s...

I'm going to get 18's once I get my check from my Hit and Run on my car as well as my leg that happened to me. I'm getting about a grand from the family.

New rims!!!

The size of 215/35/19, is the only 19 inch fitment our fitment team recommends for your xB as a trouble free/ rub free fitment.

The only time it rubs is when making U-turns.

That's no big deal but that's also at stock suspension. I'm just curious if I drop it 2" how bad is it going to be

putting a larger tire than that on an xb will give you nothing but problems, your choices are live with it, get new rims that are smaller, of go back to stock. the addition of a larger tire on a xb will not only lift your car, but give you some major rubbing issues
