I have the stock rubbers on my car and will change those and rims in about 3 months but till then i was wondering how long should our tc tires last, i no some people wear there tires out faster then others but i have no idea what the range is, but im at 12,000 miles and dont have much left any help???

Depends if you dog on 'em or not.

I got about 8700 on 'em, and after one burnout (lasted about 3 seconds, stupid mistake) and a few 2nd-3rd scratches here and there..they still look/feel nearly new.

 

but it's weird, the treadwear is at 160?

 

Treadwear on the super 7 18s have a high tread wear number , So I think i will get the millage out of these . But have done some research on the Pzero Nero (I might have got the name wrong LOL) but I have heard long term balancing issues with these tires in reviews written by owners on other vehicles . I dunno , will know more as the miles rack up ?

 

I've got nearly 12k and I expect a max of 25-30k.

 

am i wrong? all tCs do not come with the same tires (i'm not including the1.0) i've seen stock continentals, yokos, etc. on tCs.

 

mine started to give ouat around 20k but they are rated to be 30k. or something

 

i took the factory wheels/tires off at about 19K miles. the treadlife was about half gone.

 

They do come with different tires. Some come with yokos, some with potenzas and I am sure there are others. Which tires was the original post referring to?
