does anyone got em there an do they mess up when water hits them

 

i havent placed mine under yet, but ive done my research,

from what ive heard, some compressors dont work well when mounted upside down (apparently viair is one of them) tanks, there should be no problem. as long as you dont put the components in locations where water will direcly splash or spray on them, many ppl havent had any troubles

 

dang my compressors are upside down i havent finished installing everythuing yet i just got my stuff bulted down

 

THIS IS NOT TRUE. i have a viair 380c under the car with my tank. i havent had the first problem at all

 

Shouldn't be much of a problem. Run a water seperator if you want, but I hear those aren't much of a help anyways. If you got a tank with a port at the very bottem facing the road, then just unplug it every once and awhile if you feel needs to get any water drained out.

scion1616, what kit are you running on your car? I am thinking of getting the Easystreet front struts and either 2500lb bags in the rear or the easy street rear kit. what works best for your box?

 

the rear kit from easy street will get lower and it is also easier to install. You would need brackets fabbed in order to install the bellows. I know the bellows wont get as low either.

 

Do you have any pics of your tank mounted underneath ? I'm going the same route so I can move my drums in and out..

Be Carefull with Easy Streets..

There not just bolt on you have to drill through your under frame rails and grind off some of the passenger side top mount to get the to fit..

Im on my second set.. Im switching over to EAI as soon as I get the money to..

The Sleeve Bags that Easy Street Uses are flimsy.. I busted my drivers side rear today while heading to lunch

 

i just about had it with easy street, i have not even taken the xb for a ride to see how the air ride really drives and while parked in my garage the rear driver side bag just burst and dropped immediately, checked the bag and it some how came undone from the factory compression seal.....what next....it just makes you want to say screw this......and go back to the springs and struts....tried calling airlift all i get is a busy signal.....i should have just kept my money.

 

I agree with you man.. there sleeve bags are horrible and I dont trust them on my box.. i was riding down the road when mine popped and nearly made me run off the road.

Im sending mine back to them and they will replace it under warranty but I doubt I will re use them.. Im saving up for the EAI kit and rims right now..

Ive had several air ride vehicles and its sad to say but the Easy Street Stuff is starting to look like Aim products =\

 

I had Viair compressors under my blazer, and everything was fine. Ive had it done for like 2 years

 

i have 2 years with my silinders and i have no problem when i had my air bags it was a paint in the but that a hose broke a bag is pop or the valves but the point is that i have everything under the car and i had no problem so far the tank and compr

i took the whole easy street setup out to day, i just do not trust the bags and i dont want the aggravation, so i am going to sell it.

 

What would you guys recommend for the front? I am gonna use 2500lb bags in the rear and such. Think the EAI's will ride nice at all still? IMO bags are a lot smoother, but i've never liked sleeve bags as well.

 

Im gonna go EAI all around with mine.. Prob the cylinders up front an there 2500's in rear..
