they are alot heavier, skinny tires=rough ride, decrease performance, decrease gas milage. i think 19's look sick don't get me wrong but before you buy them you should investigate. if roads in your town are rough, then you better chalk it. performance is an issue (gas milage, speed) chalk it. 19's are good if you have good roads or it is a show car. with 4-5 passengers i would like to think you would have rubbing issues.

i agree with nc. 19 are pretty much for show on a scion. Is your car an everyday driver? If so i would go with 18's. Also, what type of driving do you do i.e. do you drive fast over bump, potholes, etc? Also think of the price of your tires. with those size you may pay more than for 18 depending on manufacturer.

personally i think 19's are too big..

they fill up the fenderwell dope, but they are much taller than stocks or 18's and raise the car up too much for my taste, plus they knock your speedo/odo way off

i think 18's are perfect, that's what i run, but 19's do look sick - just can't get teh car low enough for my taste...

Yeah what he said!! 19s look nice when then fender gap is no more. For more a show look i preferr 18 with lip. Even though I'm on 18s now, if i can do it over again, and when i finally get my new rims.. 17's will be my choice..

The ride with the 18s and 35 series tire isnt great.

19's are no problem. i love the huge wheels. but like they sed before, it raises the car a lot, so if u like it slammed, go with a smaller wheel with a large lip. BUT...doesnt mean 19's cant have a nice lip...heres a pic

Agreed. They can look sick if you have the right stance in addition to a good wheel width/offset combination... but I honestly haven't seen any that have blown me away with the exception of this: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9056

pros: looks and stares by people if your car is done right

cons: heavy price on tires and heavy price on rims.

Default 19"S

i have 19's motegi's on my lava lowered in eibach's with no probs at all. wheels only weight about 21 lbs. The wheel weight its a large issue and having a nice ridding tire.

Default My 20 cents

Maybe if your gonna get some extremely light wheels get something in a 16", but its your performance your playing with, do what you can deal with. And as a daily driver with people, with low profile tires, it could become a burden.
