If you have a hole in your suspension won't it leak?
(sorry, I couldn't resist)

Just watch out how far you drop it because the stock shocks will not be operating in the range they were designed for.

your stock struts/shocks arent going to last as long as they would at a stock height, cause they arent designed to be under more pressure from a lowered stance.

they will certainly be fine for a while, but eventually they will blow and you will have to replace the shocks/struts. if you have the money, its worth it to get the aftermarket shocks/struts now because you will save yourself another full suspension teardown.

does anyone have the TRD springs on a XB, I have them and am not happy at all with the stance, I thought it would be lower. Has anyone got a suggestion or recommendation for springs that are lower than the TRD's

Hotchkis does a better drop without being extreme. Here's some info.
