Tire PSI question on the RS1.0 17" wheels
The insert on the door said that the tires were recommended at 29 psi in summer temps and 60 psi for winter temps. Would increasing the psi on the tires help me improve my mpg? I already know it'd make for a rougher ride (but on 17" it's a given). What would be a safe psi to inflate it at for the summer?

Hey dude the tire pressures are supposed to be at 29 for the front and 32 for the rear. The winter tire pressure is no different. The only thing that is 60 psi is the SPARE tire. If you try to inflate it that much it will probably pop before you get it there. Jk but dont do it. I had 4 pounds too much on my tires once and after driving on them for a while I had a blow out. Go with the recommended.

I run F40/R38 all day long every day, thats the pressure I use at autoX and never bother to change it. NO tire blowouts and no bad treadwear. of course I dont have crappy stock tires...
