Default Help w/bumpiness (probably paranoid)!!!

I don't even know if I will be able to explain this well, but here goes:

Had my BOP xB for about a month now. This past weekend, on the highway at about 70-75mph, I noticed about every 5 seconds it felt like I was rolling over something, or hitting a bump. I had the tires checked this week thinking I may have punctured them or lost pressure or something, but they were all fine. I still notice that bump every few seconds, though, on the highway.

Is it nothing, and the xB is just bumpy?? I don't remember noticing it before, but now that I do it's become magnified and the only thing I notice when driving on the highway. Could it just be the design of the highway (I-270 in Central Ohio)??

Any insight would be appreciated.

Edit -- Trying to describe better...the passenger side kind of dips down a little and then comes back up, or at least that's what it feels like.

Yes, the xB has a rough ride.

Check out this thread for some info on shocks:

I know what you mean, I've seen other people make comments about it also. I'm sure some of it has to do with the road and the other part the car. I think I heard someone say something about the shocks, not as a remedy but it will help some. Again I don't know much about this, just remember seeing something about it once, but I do experience some bumpiness on the highways also.

Also if you have an xB now, you might want to change your "future scion owner" indicator.

Thanks all.

I can deal with a bumpy ride, just wanted to make sure my wheels weren't going to fall off in the middle of the highway!

I'll probably look into shocks down the road, but this little bit of reassurance will probably help me not notice the ride as much. Like I said, my paranoid brain has probably magnified it more than necessary.

Is the highway smooth or does it have expansion joints every so often? That could be what you're hitting and causing your bump. I can personally say that Tein H Tech springs and rear Koni shocks will smooth things out nicely for you...

Maybe try rebalncing your wheels? are the lug nuts tight?
