Default Who has the Deepest Rims on their Box? JDM, VIP? Please Post!

Any diameter, super wide, reverse( negative) offset, wires. Other unibody cars OK but Boxes preferred. Ugly, pretty, sticking out, any drop/ (lift?), just Post em!

Please, at least have a 3" lip on them...

Thanks in advance...

do step lips count? that will make a big difference. biggest lip i know of (step lip though) is that of Shelby with the 15x9 and -25 (i think) offset Work Equip Wheels on the All star xB.

I think it says who has not who HAD the deepest wheels. Unless they still have the burnt rims. What a shame

18"X13" rims, 15"X12", 13"X10", 17"X12",
what cars are those rims on?

and Jim, I dont think its cool saying that at all. Theres pics this person can see of Shelbys car all over the site. I dont think theyre looking to steal them off a current car. Sarcasmkillsme has huge lipped-wheels if you're going for biggest without a step-lip

Oh yes, step lips count. And to clarify we can do whoever HAD as well if they were on a box. Some rims can be super wide but may not have the super deep looks. I know most boxes don't have wide body kits but that's what makes it more challenging. I know some people work it with flares etc., hope the xtreme lips come out to show us...

I've seen them on other cars, Ive heard of 18"X13" on an xB, 20X13" on Supras, just wondering if others have gotten them for their Box, JDM or VIP style, RWD or Old School AE86 style, with flares or widebody kit, or even if they stick out.
Some wide rims don't look too bad sticking out, I know mini trucks back in the day looked mean with super wide 15" rims, some lifted trucks with stretched low profile off road tires looked just as mean, some like 15"X16" custom width Budniks/Boyds, etc.

What size and offset are these?

These are the biggest and deepest I've seen on an xB so far, but Ive heard of 2 or more setups that supposed to be even deeper, maybe its just rumors.

I shipped out a set of 18x14.5" with 7.5" lip to a customer last week but is this topic about Scions or any car out there ???

And by the way you don't need wide body or flare to run wide wheel!!!

Boxes preferred, but other cars are welcomed to show the what could be done to a box if some take the risk. Any pics of the 18X14.5? thats gonna be nutz! Wonder if that was on a box..

I agree, but some might prioritize the deepness of the rim and they might stick out like 4" that might be too much to camber in, and they might still want to be legal or simulate that under the fender look with flares. Havent seen deep rims and flares on a box yet except for that one with the equips. Thanks for posting!

Yup, some wide rims are not always deep, offset makes a difference most times. Another funny thing is the front wheels are as deep than most "deep" rims Ive seen on some other boxes. Thx for sharing!

BTW, how do those rims look on the car? I know some rims look deeper or less deep depending on the car its on. Thx!

I did not mean harm to Shelby's Scion. I Would have kept the rims off thecar for the sentimental value. That's all. I think it's better to see who has what to see where we have eveoled too. I am curious about it too. Scion xB tuning has changed for the better for the most part. Cars are getting better equipped I think.

I don't have any picture of them mounted but they are going on a wide body RX7, they should look pretty sick on that car,
I think there is another car here in CA which is running something close to that combo (that's what I have told by the owner)
Here something I have been working on for our shop project, I hope I don't have to say any lip numbers here, and yes they are going on a Scion !!!
