Default Foglight Variety...

You know I would really like to install some fog lights but I have the twin halo headlights and the rectangular fog lights wouldn't look right.

Are there any other fog lights that have been made to fit in the same spot as the stock foglights? I'm looking for an alternative to installing a lip kit.

I personally am using rectangular fogs...but way down at the bottom of the front, away from my projectors, not in the stock location. You could also consider the grille w/ the round lights, although those are more like driving (or blinding) lights than fogs...

Ya I think I know the grille you are talking about. I was talking about it on a post recently but I don't know if I would be interested in that mod.

You could always try some round ones behind one of the lower grills maybe...

What I was thinking might be cool is like a mini version of the helix halos, you know so the round lights match the round lights. I think what would look best is a rectangular clear casing with a single round light positioned inside towards the outside of the car.

OO====OO
o....====....o
......====......

Since the inner lights on the helix halos are the brights - normally only the outer lights would be on making it symetrical at night:

O...====...O
o....====....o
......====......

(Note: ignore the dots, had to include them to make it look right on the post)

I think it would look cool, a lot better than the normal rectangular ones.

edit: You know what would be even cooler is if you had two in there and the inner ones were functional only as halos so if you had your parking lights on you would have 8 "eyes" so to speak making you look like a spider or something

I like that idea, ive been thinking about getting angel eyes, and wondered what i could do to replace the stock fogs. id love to see a a smaller halo style in the rect. fitting. Great idea Tialian...now if someone would just run with it

Well it turns out they wouldn't line up right because the headlights aren't on the outer edges of the car, they are more towards the grill so it would look like this instead:

..OO====OO..
oo..======..oo
......======......

But, if there was a way you could rig it so the inner fog light is the light and the outer light is just a halo I'm sure it wouldn't look too bad. My initial predictions were off because I forgot that the two lower grills are longer than the top one which I've since changed as you can see.

I know you can buy small halo lights that you would rig up to work but I don't think they would look nearly as good because while the headlights are inside a clear enclosure the aftermarket smaller lights would be by themselves and it wouldn't look natural.
