I like that look the best......I think it's more a matter of person preference.

yea light out put may differ, but not by much unless you're talkin JDM HIDs. and there is MANY JDM brands, it depends which. i like some of them, but others are **** ugly. quality wise, some of the JDM ones will be better. (most will be). Anzo and Helix are fine though if you get one without leaky seals.

Just for some clarification..... JDM is not a brand. its stands for "Japanese Domestic Market"-

I think everyone agrees that helix headlamps suck! they are made horridly. My Anzos look and feel like the OEM ones that I removed. Light output is also great.....

Nobody abnswered that guy about putiing a HID kit on Anzo's. I would also like to know if it is possible. If not i'd consider getting the ones on ebay that come with a HID kit. They don't look as good but would be alot brighter.

For all of you asking about ANZO's headlights. I went through 4 hard down pours and not a single fogging issue!

Also the ANZO's are beam adjustible, Helix are not. I bought mine off eBay for $135 shipped. The listing did not list them as "ANZO" brand, but I as the seller via e-Mail and they confirmed.....

Good luck

Yes, you can convert Anzos to HID with the retrofit ballasts from a Honda S2000 or Acura TSX. There are other threads with links and howtos.

@UnFocused
damn good price, do u have a link to the seller? I'm pretty sure you can put HID's on the anzo's, i emailed Anzo and NAMotorsports (sells them on these forums) and they said that you could.

Instead of spending $1,000 couldn't you just buy these as a "bolt-on" HID kit?

For a real HID setup, you will be spending anywhere from 700-2000. Unless of course your lights are already setup with HID projectors.

Check this thread here:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=101019

You will see the differences between a real HID setup and HID in the wrong housing (projector and reflector bases).
