Today was somewhat a slow day so I played around with some samples today.

This is what I came up with. New Badges. No plans to use them but only to kill sometime.



A few seconds under a softwhite light. Where's a floodlight when you need one?



Hoping to use blue next time and fill the bB badge so only the bB glows.

push it into a clay mold, then fill with that glow in the dark epoxy/resin??

Just so happens I had some Glow in the Dark powder and added it to some casting resin I had here at work.

As some of you might know, I make the VIP tables and have just come out with a Envy Green table (Soon to be released) and will produce a Limited Edition Envy Green Table with the Glow in the Dark Scion Badge.

I could but the resin used is not recommened. It's too brittle. In fact, after taking the picture, I drop the bB badge and it shattered.

Next time, I'll use a different resin.

 

Nice! Maybe you can experiment by makin a carbon fiber version since you're goin to play around with the whole badge idea.

 

Honestly, I've played around with CF that we have here in the shop but the cost of labor and materials wouldn't pay for it's self.
