Default I installed my lowering springs !

I installed my Drop Zone springs yesterday and the box sits very well now. I have only one concern. I have heard stories about springs coming out on the rear since there is really nothing there to hold them in place. WWWhen I put the rear springs in I paid close attention and put everything back just like it came out. The new lowering springs were wound very close at the top, almost no space between the coils at all and at the bottom of the spring there was a wide space between the last two twists of coil. After putting the car on the ground there is no space at all accept for what is at the bottom of the coil. It rides fine but is this normal?

My dead coils are up top, which was correct for my springs.
I would imagine it to be the same for you, but I am not sure
