Scion's hot-selling xB is due to be redesigned soon, and the replacement vehicle is expected to be larger than the current model. This photo captures a prototype mule, obviously based on the current xB, but stretched, which seems to confirm that the new xB will be at least a few inches longer than today's car.

The hood looks longer, bigger engine??
Q: Is bigger better?
A: Maybe, more power, more room, etc, etc, but I think the compact size of the xB is as important to making it unique as its shape.
When Toyota already makes other engines that are the same size, 1.5 that put out 20-50 more hp, why not just make more out of what we've already got?
Even though another article recently said that there will be no 4th Scion, I wouldn't mind having a choice between a long and a short xB.
hehe, long bus vs short bus.

no, as i understand its NOT the tC's engine. bu i think its still spose to be a 2.4L
and its not good looking to me stretched out either. it looks like a lame land rover. i liked the short astro van look of the current xBs if they stretch them the'll have no individuality. like how that minivan of a civic SI used to be. can we please keep compacts COMPACTS!
