Default New Wheels + Clean Car = Photo shoot! (not 56k freindly)

After what seemed like forever, I finally ditched the hubcaps. The new wheels are 16" Rota Track-R's wrapped in Hankook something-or-other 205/50R16 tires. The ride is slightly smoother than the stock 185/60R15. So this morning I detailed the car and went scouting for photo ops. I found a couple of really cool spots. Lemme know what ya'll think...

Looks nice! Are you happier w/ those vs. the D2's? I bet it's a much smoother ride than the 17's I got. :D

I took a dump... heh heh, yeah!

Thanks for all the compliments! As for the D2's I'm gald I got these instead. I think over all they were less of a comprimise for practicallity over style. I'm really happy with the 16" wheels. I think they are a real tasteful fit, while still being sporty.

No spacers, in fact I did install some, but they rubbed so I'm selling them:

I still kinda want spacers in the rear at least, but I'm a little turned off from modding right now.

Has anyone even seen Track-R's on other cars? I've seen them on a first gen Miata and a Acura Vigor, but that's it.

Thanks, they're the Anzo LEDs. There's another brand of LED lights out that offer a ton of styles:

I'm shocked there's much love for the Track-R's. People don't talk about them much. It was hard finding pictures of them or a similar size tire, then imagining that on a toaster to boot.

Nice wheels and tails, looking good. I'd get a BSP grille to help tie the look together, maybe some rear shims to help the stance a little...

looks good. Would have went with 17s myself but the 16s look good enough. Anything is better than stock. (besides american racing rims which are the lamest rims ever designed.)

^ LOL... I had shims, but the wheels rubbed, so I'm selling them. I was going to do the BSP grill, with the dual halos, but they were garbage so I sold them too. :\ I might be done modding for now.... we'll see how long that holds up

I need to get started on the modding. Im building up some savings now. I bought a house and i need to make sure i can handle dumping a little into the car. Im definitely getting some wheels. Just trying to see the best combo out there.

There's a white xA here in Hollywood lowered with bronze 15" wheels that makes me wish I bought the xA... I can only imagine the 16" Track-R's in Bronze on that car . What kind of mods are you planning?
