Default are you scraping on speed bumps?

I am getting an xb in june and i 've been searching the forums for springs. I like the goldlines or the tein s tech but I was wondering if you guys are scraping on speed bumps. I have an se-R now and I think i'm getting too old to drive sideways up every driveway and speedbump. If it matters I'll have 18's w/ 225-40 tires

Phil and I are running 18's (215-35) with Ground Control and if I am not super careful when I go over speed bumps it scrapes. However, with our Sprint springs that are a 2 inch drop all around it wasn't really an issue. Depends on how careful you are when you drive though.

you should be fine. i have a 2" tanabe drop with 225/35/19's and dont scrape. it raised it up and i think 18's will be close to stock. before these i had 195/50/15's which are shorter than the stock tires and i didnt scrape the undercarriage. the only time i scraped was going up a rilly steep sidewalk in oakland and that was the part of the lip that stuck down a lil. just be careful on the real steep places, but 18's shouldnt scrape

Never had a problem on the speed bumps. I've got a 2" drop with the GoldLines.

I have to angle up my driveway but it's due to the sharpness of the angle and the edge of the curb Other driveways are OK.

Of course, I've gotten in the habit of slowing and crossing them at an angle, just for the "look at me, I'm lowered " factor... :D
