Default Need some advice for new 15" wheels

My wife liked the "sport edition E3" wheels at the tire rack, in anthracite. Great price ($70), but they are BO'd until May. Has anyone bought any inexpensive 15" wheels for their Box? Would love to hear(and see) some recommendations!

The wheels are probably on back order because they are so inexpensive. The good news is there are tons of inexpensive options out there in a 15" wheel. And you can save even more money by reusing your stock tires. Of course inexpensive has a different meaning to each individual.

If I was looking for a reasonably priced stock diameter replacement wheel for my wife's xB I would probably go for either the Konig Minuz or Helium. You can reuse the stock tires, they are light weight and are very reasonable.

Talk to steve at bBist. 15x8's, nice step lip for $100 each. All you need is fender flares so they don't stick out and thats it.

Also, ATS Cup's are also great looking wheels, because they are imported every so often its a little pricer. But still cheap. As little as $200 each, up to $300 each.

Default Back to the original point at hand

A lot of good suggestions in this thread, but I'd like to go back to the original post in this thread: Does anyone know if Sport Edition E3 wheels are any good? I personally think the E3s (Bright Satin finish against Thundercloud) are the best choice, regardless of price, at TireRack. The like part is my taste. That being said, I don't know anything about aftermarket wheels. I know from other posts that Sport Edition this is "TireRack brand". I also know from the TireRack web site that these wheels are 15.6 lbs. each. Is that a good weight? Does it suck? What is the weight of the stock steel wheels as a comparison? Thanks!

sport edition e3 anthracite looks nice. i was thinking of putting the bright silver on my xa. cannot beat the 70 bucks and they are light too. funny that their pic seems to show the bright silver is darker than the anthracite ...yours should be avail around 4/10.

I went with the Konig Helium in silver on a 2006 Xb blue onxy. They were about 70 a peice and weigh about 10 lbs a peice. Look great and come in black, silver and bronze. Check out Konig web site.

i have the set of 15x8 sportmax wheels zero offset...the fenders were rolled a bit, and im running 185-60 tires. they were a bit stretched but fit real well...almost no rubbing...only rubbed hard on a very very hard dip...you can run flares or not...if i posted the picture right you can see the fit...PM me if you want more pics. $100 a wheel was a great deal.

if photo doesnt show up heres a link to pics...mine is the BCP with fender mirrors
