I debadged the box this weekend shined it up and added 4 12" cathodes in the lower grills this weekend. Let me know what you think.

did you do anything special to protect the cathodes and transfomers from the elements?

what lip is that you have? that is teh sexy. have to admit i'm not feelin the b/c pillar vinyl removal, tho.

It does look better at night, I'll post pics. I didn't remove the vinal, that is dark blue carbon fiber. to protect the cathodes I bought some 1 1/4 clear plastic tubing and caps from home depot and put the cathodes inside, it would take a lot to break them. Thanks for the comments and I will get a night pic.

6 12" blue cold cathodes. made my own housing to protect them.

 

I have that lip but its made from carbon fiber, only had it on my car for like 2 months... then I bought a fabulous kit, its in pefect shape and its sitting in my garage with the rest of my carbon fiber parts.... ill sell it if anyones interested

 

If it was dark blue CF I would be all over it!

 

hahah wish i could help but all i have is traditional cf its in great shape and im willing to part with it for cheap because i have no use for it due to my fabulous kit. the car looks good! keep it clean

 

Nothing better than a nice clean box. Good idea for protecting the cold cathodes.
