Default Twin Halo Projector Headlights owners...

Hi all, first post here, and apologies in advance for starting another thread about these headlights, but after reading through the many "I got them" posts, I'm curious how they are performing for you now after having them installed for x months.

http://store.yahoo.com/yhst-50067900...xb04jmbyd.html

Is the site linked to once or twice, and likely what i will be ordering to put into my BOP xB :D Just looking for a final peice of mind before i hit the submit order button.

And has anyone stuck HIDs in these particular lamps yet?

Thanks again! :D

Waiting on my Randode lighting atm too

I have had mine in for 2 or 3 months and I have not been happy with them from day 1. You can hardly see at night, the light stinks!!!!

Arg. It's safe to assume to that you are using decent bulbs, too. I wonder if these thigns are manufactured at more then one location - some people seem to have great sets, while others get foggy or low light output

I have those very ones and I love them! Good light output with SilverStars. I do not know what the bulbs they come with look like at night.

One very short-term fogging was present, when I had slushy snow piled up against them, but it was gone within minutes of me removing the slush. No fog in the rain or while washing ever since.

I have had them for maybe two months.

Aftermarket headlamps are trash. Its been said already and I'll say it again, these are not worth the aggrevation. The build quality is hit or miss and the light emission is crap. I just ripped these out after having them for about 8 months. Every mounting bracket busted off, I couldnt see at night, they always fogged, and the halos burned out pretty quick...

...enjoy your new headlights!

Thanks for the good feedback. I think i will procrastinate a bit on ordering these for the time being. Do you guys know of any sure-fire options for after-market headlights? I really like the look of the black housing, and with the TYC scion taillights having a similar look i was looking forward to a more uniform look.

Untill then, i think i'll clear my corners :D

EDIT: Max, would you say the projector headlights are more, less, or about equal to stock headlights with silverstar bulbs? Thanks

Why should I be in a hurry to be out the money twice and the parts that UPS lost and wont respond to my claim about? Get paypal to reinstate my account and release the funds since youre the one who had them locked when I was already working on the situation... Im not going to play this game in other peoples threads. If you wanna bash me please start a seperate thread in the off-topic section where its appropriate. Other people shouldnt suffer because you and I have a dissagreement.

There isn't glare/stray light with HIDs in the stock lights are there? i dont want to get anyone killed because of any aiming problems with the stock lights.... HIDs WOULD be quite tasty to have again.
