i just recently installed HID's and now when i turn on the headlights the high beam light on the display panel lights up automatically.

why does it do this? is there any way to turn it off?

 

you need to get bi-xenon(sp) for the high and low beems to work. there are specialty kits out there that convert the dual bulb to one hid. Do a google search and you shall find it.

 

ill tell you the solution, remove one of the prongs that plug into the stock harness. toyotas have a constant positive while the kit is designed for a constant negative. hope that helps if you need more help let me know im to lazy to go into more detail.
