Default Stock tires on XB

I have a 2006 xb, bone stock, tires are goodyear eagle ls 185/60r15. anyone try to buy a replacement? blew tire and got nowhere fast on finding a new one. apperently these tires are a odd ball size. should i complain to dealer and try to get new set or count my loss and buy normal tires???

One word: Tirerack.

They have 'em, plus there should be a lot of "take-offs" laying around in the garages of those folks who drove 'em home and immediately put fancy aftermarket wheels and tires on... Heck, I have four of em bagged and sitting on my patio. You should be able to find some locally...

I may be able to provide some answers.

I manage a Tire & Lube Express for Wal*Mart. So to point you in the right direction and keep my stock from dropping any lower: WalMart TLE. You can ship the tires to your local WalMart or to your house.

The dealer will do ZERO for you, tires are warrented by the manufacturer and only if the tire was defictive. At least with WalMart you can get a very good warrenty, unless of course you live in NY. Then you get nothing!!

And last, that tire size is not that uncommon. Go find a neon in the area and jack its wheels. Hope this helps.
