Default Tire Wear Question?

I have a stock rim/tire & suspension Xb and have been experiencing some bad tire wear issues. The outside edge of the rear tires has worn down much more rapidly than the inside edge. I just found out from another thread that we can't align the rears. Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks

How can you adjust camber in the rear? I've seen it done on some cars here.

Maybe the tire is mounted unevenly. Did you use the star pattern when it was installed?

I always use the star pattern. Equally distributes the torque. Thank you for your input.

Also, when I look at the car from behind, the wheels look like they have a slight negative camber. I'll probably have to just get it aligned and find out whats up. That will be after my new rims and tires arrive!

Other then what has been mentioned, just make sure that your tire preasure is correct.

The rear wheels should tilt in at the top by about one degree per the manual specs. If they do not, there are no camber adjustments for the rear, only replacing bent or defective parts.

Well, today I decided to spot check with a square. And, wouldn't you know it the rear wheels do have slight negative camber.

Default Rear wheel alignment

I have had the alignment checked twice on my box. And both times the rear was out on one side. Both times it was realigned. I asked for a before and an afterwards alignment printout and got it. So something is smelling fishy. I have 31K miles on mine with no uneven wear. First time was after I had my box for a couple of months and it felt like the front end wanted to dart around on the interstate. Second time was for the tires for life checkup. Tires for life can be a scam. Just went through this on my wifes Highlander. Took it in everytime the windshield sticker said to. Got screwed because we took it in once at 3K miles between visits with the rest at 5k miles. Service guy tried to go to bat for us but to no avail. Even my dad got screwed on his Ford truck with the Tires for Life deal. So its not just Toyota. Tires for life is a 3rd party deal with local dealers. Found out we weren't the only ones that have been turned down. Sorry for the Rant.
