Default New Wheels, kinda cheap, but...

Hey guys,

I've been looking around for wheels and figured that after installation I'm looking at at least $500.

I was checking these ones out:

They are 15X6.54-100/114.38SM
http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...08415&bp=4-100

I'm driving a 2006 xA and basically would like to know, would I be able to mount my current tires on these wheels? It's only a week or two old. I tried searching on the forums for similar info but I am so clueless when it comes to wheels it's not even funny I don't even know if you guys would recommend going with something like this, are they too cheap?

If anyone has a ballpark what most places will charge to remove my tires and mount them on new wheels too I'd appreciate any input!

Default new wheels

I like the look of those wheels. Photo looks good anyway. I got 15" American Racing 686 chrome wheels, 7 spoke at Sears and had them remount my tires on the new rims. I only had 900 miles on my tires. I now have 31k miles on my box and still like the look. I also like it that they didn't make my gas mileage suffer like others that have the bigger wheels. I do wish sometimes I had a set of 18" wheels for show use only. Maybe for Christmas.

I don't like those wheels, but at 15x5.6 your stock tires will fit.

Those look nice, and it's tough to beat Discount Tire on anything.

I have these, in 15x6.5, with stock tires-

I wish, however, that I'd gone ahead and upgraded the tires while I was at it. I really don't like the stock LS Goodyears at this point, and am strongly considering some Falken Ziex 512's or BFG traction TA's in 195/60/15...

I'd have saved money in the long run buying the wheels and tires as a package deal... and selling off the stock tire/wheel package on Craigslist...

They'll match the online price at your local Discount Tire center, and mount&balance for ~$10/wheel...

I like Jhhnn's wheels better, I would go with those but there are a lot more choices out there!
