Default Wheel advice

Looking for advice, got Albino White XA, 2006, want to do 16" wheels in gold with polished/chrome rim. How wide would fit normal tires, is 7" normal? Or is 6.5" more normal? Where would I get my best deal? Looking for ideas, got lots of time, looking for advice on manufacturer, and model of wheel. And also, what size tire do I need to fit 6.5 or 7 wheel? You young guys know all this stuff, help me out

scioncliff, after highlighting "forums" at the top of the page, instead of clicking "xA owners lounge", if you also highlight it, another drop down menu will show eight additional xA forums and one of them is entitled "wheels & tires". I'm gonna move your thread there.

Each sub-forum addresses different issues with regard to the xA.

Both 16 x 6.5 and 16 x 7 rims would work. Most people use 205/50 R16 tires on 16 inch rims, which will fit fine on 6.5 or 7 inch rims.

However, I think there are alot more choices with 16 x 7 rims and would recommend going that direction.

Check out www.tirerack.com or www.discounttire.com for a wide selection of rims.

The ASA AR1 is a nice looking rim on the xA in my opinion. I'm don't know whether they have a good reputation or not. Below is a link to a picture of that rim on an xA. There are a lot of choices. Good luck in finding something you like.

Also check out www.ohioscions.com
You can play with different wheels and drops.
I'm not sure the 2 places mentioned above have pkg. deals or free shipping. Just goggle wheels for scions and a bunch of different places will pop up.

ASA is licensed by BBS. They're high quality rims. I had the AR1 in a 16x7, +37mm offset on my Box.

Thinkin' about getting some for my xA now.

I have these on my xA and love them but in PA you'd need to put your stockers back on in the winter time.
