Default help with tire size

I just got a hold of a set of the 17x8.5 rota D2s (+25 offset) and need some advice on tire size as I am lowered around 2in on goldlines. So far it seems like most of the people I have asked are running a 215/40/17 and sometimes have minor rubbing issues in the back. One also recommened a 205/40 and another recommended a 205/45. I kind of like the streached tire look so I am not opposed to the 205. The 205/45 would have a little extra side wall right? Do you guys think it would rub? I think it is probably a little taller than the 215/40 (which is known to rub slightly) but is more narrow to hopefully compesate for this right? I am cluess with this wheel stuff, any help would be appreciated.

What do you wheel gurus think I should go with?
