Default please tell me what these caps are off of...

hey guys... i was on this site quite some time ago and never got around to buying an xb. i ended up getting a new xterra a few months ago but it's going back to nissan due to the lemon law. i'm looking to replace it with an xb and will be going steelies with a trim ring. i found this pic of center caps that kind of remind me of old tercel hubcaps. are they? i tried the search feature but couldn't get an answer. any help would be greatly appreciated. looks like three weeks until i get a mica xb here in NJ.

I think they are. This place sells caps http://www.hubcaps.org/tercel.html
They are kind of pricey though.

i was inspired by this thread, and went out looking at a pickapart for some center caps.

Couldnt find any toyota ones, BUT i stumbled apon some late 80s VW Jetta ones. 7", stripe in the center and something that looks like a fake "thumblatch".

bought em, took em home, bondoed over the VW logo molded in, primed and sprayed em black. i call em my "amish" wheels, since they look very plain. monochrome black wheel, tire, and center cap.

bad news? i could only find 3. shouldnt be too hard to find one more.

I just got my center caps at the local Pick-N-Pull in San Jose, Ca. for $5 each. I pulled them off of a 4 door 1984 Corolla. They are the same kind that Macadaegs & chris080406 are sporting.

For those who have local Pick A Part looks like you can make some extra money here. Those are sharp looking.

I thought about that after I found the toyota caps so I searched the rest of import section of the wrecking yard for more (the yard I went to is really quite tidy for a "junk yard"), but couldn't find any others. I was lucky enough to find a complete set like I did, and in pretty good condtion. Now the stock steelies that I use in the winter look a lot more stylish than the stock hubcaps.

I may try to find some more at other wrecking yards in the area because here in the san jose area, there are a good amount of auto dismantlers and wrecking yards.

I finally got around to taking a pic of my ride with the toyota center caps that I recently got at the Pick-N-Pull:

... Also, I saw that some people had questions as to what these caps look like on the reverse side, so I took a picture of the back side of the cap

I ditched my steelies with the stock tires a few thousand miles after I got my xB for alloys with Yokos. A couple weeks ago, I bought new 14" steelies with snow tires. Probably overkill I moved and have several nasty hills to navigate this winter. So now I'm in search of these hubcaps but I'll probably settle for the NAPA center caps.
