question about price of racing hart type crs
Ok, I have decided that I want to get a set of gunmetal racing hart type crs (18's) for my flint mica tc. The thing is everywhere I look these rims are like 500-900 a piece, just for the rims! until yesterday.... I opened up an import tuner mag and found an ad by WheelsNext and saw that they had a set of racing hart type crs with tires with free shipping for like 1500$. anyone ever deal with them because from what i have been seeing this is one hell of a deal.
thanks

I haven't dealt with them yet, but that is where we are going to be getting wheels for my girlfriend's tc.
They offer free shipping, free lowering springs, free rim repair for a year.
Also one you buy one set, the next set of rims you buy from them you get $50 off, then for every person you refer to buy rims from them, you get an additonal $25 off.
They seem like they will be a pretty good company to deal with, just call and talk with them on the phone, better to speak to someone then just to order off the net.

I know, I had priced racing harts in the past, and they were usually running around $2500 with tires from the wheel shop I used to go to in Tn.
If you find out information from the wheelsnext.com let me know.

IIRC, the Racing Hart Type CR comes in a multi-piece and monoblock version. The expensive ones are multi-piece .They are much higher quality, have fat lips, and made in Japan I think. The cheaper ones on WheelsNext are probably the 1-piece monoblocks . They have no lip and might be made by RH Evo in China or something.
Check the Racing Hart catalog: http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/cat_all/catalog.htm

those are multi pieces...
the lips have a higher polish then the RH evolution wheels...
behind the wheel is also polished... not as high of a polish as the outer rim but still has an attention to detail...
you can get custom offsets... mine has a fatter lip in the rear...
They are forged. I am not sure how the RH evo wheels are constructed..
most are a 60 day wait unless someone stocks them...
at 500+ a wheel they are expensive... but i am happy with my purchase... good luck on your decision
