Default rim scuff fix on chrome

I've got a set of chrome 17" rims that I scuffed one wheel trying to get out of a too-tight spot. The rim itself is straight and true, but the chrome is scraped away leaving a coppery-colored scratch (undercoating for chrome?!?) in a couple of places.

Without sending it out to get rechromed, is there a fix that would make the scuff less noticeable? Any type of paint that might blend with the chrome from a distance? Thanks guys,

You probably will have to get it rechromed. I don't think there is anything on the market that will do a good job at fixing it.

if you just want to hide the booboo. paint the damaged part silver so at least it will blend in better or you could paint the chrome Black
