yeah i figured if the whole thing was yellow it'd be pretty annoying to have that brightness hit my face while I am driving. and yes i did although if you do choose to do it this way a huge tip would to be go to target or micheals and buy either that air dry clay or any kind of clay and just pull off pieces to use it to mask off the edges because since there are little perforations paint will get under even if you used frog tape. just push down and make sure all the little gaps are closed. i know it sounds a little asinine but it works

iv used both rustoleum and duplicolor and you dont have to sand it down before hand especially if you get adhesive promoter when i used the rustoleum i didnt even use adhesive promoter and everything worked fine and never chipped or anything

What do you guys think about using plasti dip instead of paint so it's reverable??

I haven't use the product yet, so I don't know if it leaves a smell or not...like when it's summer during the heat. Or if you put it on the trim around the air vents and use the heater during the winter..will that produce a smell??

What I was thinking of doing is pretty much like what Coiinoperatedboy did to his Voltage, except not doing the lower half of the shifter...but also do the aluminum pieces around the air vents like PrjectTC2 did...whatcha think about that??

That sounds like a plan dude. Can't wait to see pics. Big ups to you if you do the vents! I wanted to do that but I didn't want to take the dash apart more than I have already. And I'm lazy LOL But hey, at lease the vents and air controls are all silver... so they match.

I'm looking for some opinions on this, my color scheme is the cement body color and blue, but for the interior i have blue lights so i was going to go with color matching the interior trim to the outside of the car, but I'm worried it'll look too bland, any thoughts?

Id also be doing the HVAC dials and the steering wheel

shopped r2dnel's pic lol

Jon_D..thank you for saying something about the blue. I just remembered that i have I have a blue underglow kit that turns on when I open/unlock the doors along with super bright blue led domes lol my plan with the orange is out the door now...i dont think that color theme would look good lol

As for the cement trim..the cement color is kinda bland and I don't really know what to do to it to spice it up. I'm not too sure about blue trim either

John_D: looks good. If I get tired of there'd I'm going to color match the Magnetic Grey. Friends say that would be too dark but it's my car! I do what I want!

Turtle: haha at least if you want to remove it, you'll be able to peel easy with just the dip... Since I primed Painted and cleared mine I'll have to peel it... Most likely in pieces!

@TurtleTurtle_12 You could always say it's a UF theme, or a Portal theme haha. But I was thinking if i got cement with blue accent redline goods and then cement with blue inserts clazzios the cement wouldn't look as bland?

@r2dnel ha thanks, that's true but i think the red looks sick
