i have it and i'm auto, when i first got done installing it i had to take it out for a test drive and it did feel better than before yet i have it on race setting and don't plan on changing it to street. yes the rattling is annoying but eh i think i've gotten over it already.

yes i did. i never registered and i had a paper to write haha. i parked next to the s/c tC and i had no lower grill lol. need to get that fixed..

 

Does the torque damper improve shifting, do you feel the shift more since engine is attached to chasis?

 

you feel the shifting less which is what it's for as well. if you want to feel it more then you probably aren't looking for a smooth ride.

yeah that's him alright. gammatnt?? yeah i wanted to take a good look at the cars when i got there but since the judging was like an hr away i had to work quit on cleaning the car so i didn't have time but it would of been nice to show you the rattling noise although now i can only hear it when it's cold and that car is warming up, after lets say 10-15 mins it goes silent like if it wasn't even there.

 

oo thats good then. i still get random little rattles at idle, but man it sounds like a building's crumbling next to me when my a/c's on.

 

i don't use my a/c so i don't have much to worry there.

yes and from the moment i installed it, i found out it was on with the race bushings and i just left it because the pulls felt better and the rpm's went higher when stepping on the gas without flooring it. it was annoying that it vibrated alot but later on it got quiet, it rattle when i'm in reverse or when the car is cold. overall i like it.

 

well i installed mine the other day and i think you guys installed it wrong or something. them 4 washers i think are supposed to go under the other side of the bracket, no? its the only way the 2 sides would be level for me so thats what i did. the bolt had no problem going in all the way on the other side of the bracket

what the extra nut is for idk lol.

i also put some washers under the top bracket as i was unable to tighten it up all the way with out bending the bracket due to there being space under it.


i think i have to adjust mine though it rattles pretty bad in reverse and when taking of from a stop. i have the black bushing in right now.

 

well i'm not sure that it's wrong, but yes, i did do the same thing. I put washers that i bought from home depot under the strut bracket and under the strut bar on the other side. and yeah that extra nut i think was there just to hold the washers in.

 

I have a question on the engine mount portion are we supposed to use the stock lug for the bracket for the smaller bolt?

 

the stock bolt is too short which is why it comes with a longer one and 4 washers if that is what you are asking..
