I spent the entire day sunday in the garage and still weren't able to finish the job. i started 5 am in the morning. aiming was easy and only took 30-45 minutes. the rest of the day was spent building wiring harness and wiring up everything. it also didn't help when i had to run to ace multiple times cus i keep on running out of heatshrink tubes. its taking me forever because i want to do everything right by soldering and heatshrink-tubing every connection. i still have to glue the bezels on and reassemble the headlight and more wiring. hopefully i can get most of it done tonight and put the bumper back together tomorrow night and finish in time for the august tech article contest.
mounted everything tonight and was assembling the headlights back together. then i must have f0cked something up when i was pushing the front lens back on. parts of the led side markers would only turn on when i wiggle the wire...something got loose...have to open that side up again...f0ck!
very very nice, need pictures of them in the dark, and probably late evening when it's not that dark and during the day
once again good job
how much time did you put into it? as i read on the first page, you august review or something like that? i bet the outcome of that will be good due to the hard work you have put into it!
btw the design of your retro headlights is very very nice!
