Should be no problem whatsoever... just remove the intake tube, and you should be gtg... even if you had to remove a charge pipe, it's cakewalk.

ohh - thats what I thought because the intake box and tubing is in the same spot for the s/c and non s/c people. Im just asking because I went to go change my trans fluid using the shortcut writeup (which was nice by the way) but because I had the s/c .....it couldnt use the shortcut. Its all good. thanks.

back on topic - how are things after performing this mod? anybody have any input?

Yes... I'm curious as to how it preforms. Is there a notable difference. I suppose for 30 bucks all togeather its not to bad of an investment... either way it wont break the bank... but still curious.

Absolutely love it... should have come stock like it... I understand why they didn't, (for the normal plain jane guys), but no vibration whatsoever and you can actually feel the shifter lock in...

Install is cake, unless you drop the washer like I did I spent over an hour trying to find it and never did. Got to call dealership and order one. I don't think it'll be a problem since the snap ring holds the bushing in and I put the cotter pin in.

install went smooth. those pins are a beast though. shifting feels more firm and percise, not a huge difference but for $26 shipped you cant beat it. Def a good mod from a great company, keep it up NST!

You have the stock intake box in there? I took a look and it doesn't look all that feasible with it in...

I have a custom CAI. Pretty close to the stock shape, a bit bigger in diameter. I got to my shifter links pretty easy, though.

Cool to hear... I did it for ease sake, and also that it's a heck of a lot easier to get a camera in there as well without the intake in the way...

Bump for a great product and everyone tell what you think about them... I still love them... and for the cost... nice addition.

i am having trouble removing one of the rubber brushing.
I install the one on the side pretty easily. But the one lying down, i can't remove it. The rubber seem to be glue down. I torn one side of the rubber while pulling it. Any suggestion how to get it out?

it must have gotten hot or something... I pulled the cable off with the bushing still in and just pushed really hard and they both popped out of the holder... it's not glued down from the factory, so you should be able to just pull the heck out of it to get it off.

Take a flathead screwdriver and put it through and pop it out. pretty easy that way.

the cable came off. But the rubber bushing is still on the rod. I am going to try again tomorrow.
Would warming up my car make it easier to get it off?
