Default changing wheel bearings

has anyone changed their own wheel bearings. if so, how hard was it to take apart everything. the dealership is charging us 1600 bucks to replace the front right and rear right wheel bearings.

I was thinking of doing it myself. is the haynes service manual a good reference for this sorta job? i already saw that the parts itself cost around 70 bucks.
