I've had a few of these rides... and I loved them! Here are some pics:
The blue and grey ones were SR5s and the red was a GTS. All were coupes. The blue one got parted out and the grey one went to a friend who has since done a GTS conversion with some black wheels and it looks pretty sweet.
The red one I found on the side of the freeway, abandoned. A call to the owner revealed that the 17-year-old girl has left it there the night before because it died. I bought it for $500 and replaced the ALTERNATOR belt for a few bucks. It turned out to have a JDM high-compression motor with TRD bits in it. I bolted on the wheels and suspension and drove it for about six months or so. When I got my S13 convertible I put the Hachi on eBay and sold it for $5500 to an American in Okinawa Japan that wanted a left-hand drive car. Wow.

I had an '86 Corolla GT-S about 12 years ago before I knew it was cool. At the time I really wanted a nice 510, but it was pretty unattainable for me then and the Corolla was a reasonable alternative. It was cherry and bone stock, I bought it off an old lady for $900 and sold it a year later for $1200 when I moved to Denver and couldn't afford to have a car. If I stiil had it today in the same condition it would be worth 3-4 times that. I would love to have that car back, but I'll just have to be happy with my tC for now.
