is there no reason to have the highlander. the rav 4 is almost as large. faster , cheaper , better fuel economy , better looking.

the highlander has no purpose. not a real suv , doesnt look good , other than the hybrid gets pretty crappy/not stellar fuel mileage. can have a 3rd row but is uncomfortable. oh well.

i'd rather have the sienna. by far!!!!

 

Yeah, I have to agree... the new RAV4 has moved up into the Highlanders market. I expect that the next generation Highlander (if there is one) will blend the lines between car, SUV and van even more, similar to the Pacifica or the new Mercedes R-Class.
