Ignition hole light ring - $50
Reclining rear seats - $200
Mirror Defrost - $150
Better lit gagues (the mirror adjust ect) - $300
Design cost for adding these options....... $47million dollars.
Is this not the dear scion section where we post ideas to the Scion god's? I understand the big picture and economics behind making changes to a vehicle. But thanks for clearing for the broken hearted 15 year old kid that's a part of this forum and would like to see the options I listed on his scion the he plans to buy as soon as he turns 16.
Did I miss something? Who is the 15 yr old kid who is broken hearted because the rear seats don't recline? You?
I apologize. Sometimes I get ____ed when people get their panties in a knot about some simple suggestions.
I'd just like my rear seats to recline like the tC.
I think it'd be cool to have rear bucket seats to match the front ones but that's just my opinion.
As for being the 15yr old kid being broken hearted that's not the case.
That kind of upset me and makes me want to meet you face to face.

Anyone sat in a box with bench seats up front? I guess I'm thankful we don't have this.

As long as there is enough area to move the seat rails back, you could take them off and move them back an inch or three.

As we all know our xB's are the most anti-areodynamic pieces of machinery on the road.
With that said our speed is pretty much in control of two factors.
1) Wind speed (for or against)
2) Slope (for or against)
Cruise controls are supposed to be a tool of convienence and possibly help with gas mileage.
Since our boxes can't maintain a constant speed depending on the variables above cruise control does more harm than good.
For example:
I can set my cruise at 70mph and here comes a hill with a moderate incline. The xB will start to loose speed down to about 60mph then it will downshift and about redline to gain speed back up to 70mph.
If the incline last awhile your going to be at a high RMP until you can reach back to what you set the cruise at.
It's the worst investment that I have on my box......totally useless
-For example. Sometimes the frost is bad when I wake up and I have to actually get a paper towel and wipe off my side mirrors because they do not have defrost.
Bye the way, this is sort of a "I wish" thread I'm assuming. So it's a cool idea for everyone to post their dream standard xB but people, relax a little then. We all know more options means more cost...

you've got a crappy cruise control system then. has nothing to do with the car or aerodynamics.
What about the 300lbs of audio equipment that I have in the box? Or the 19" rims which weigh 47lbs a piece?
That's an extra 500lbs.....
When a car with less that 100whp is luggin all that extra weight tell me that the engine is going to be able to maintain speed going up hill.....
Lucky don't you have a tC?
Got much experience with the ol' box?
I can notice a drastic difference in driving conditions when I have wind against me.....
It does make a difference.
My Scion has to down shift to get back up to the cruising speed that I set.
