I get my yaris in 2 weeks (selling my v8 grand marquis) and I have a scanguage 2 already purchased.. hoping to hit that 36-40mpg mark! gas is KILLING me

i am looking at the fit or a yaris and the yaris is looking alot better in the mpgs

i get a consistant 37 with mods. i fill up every 2 weeks.....

and why can't you get 25-30 mpg with your tc? i'm supercharged and i'm still getting that much on mileage.

a major part of what you get in mpg isn't what you drive, but how you drive it. you get a yaris and try to drive it like you do your tC, your mileage will still suck.

what you drive and how you drive both effect your mileage. i had a rental honda civic LX (last gen) when my tC was in the shop, and i got worse mileage than my tC despite the fact that a honda civic LX should get much better mileage. i wasn't driving unreasonably, but just trying to get it to move as quickly as my tC usually does.

45 mpg is easily doable, but not if you're doing 100 mph like I do occasionally on the freeway. Ya I'm a lead foot. You should see me drive my MR2.
