Hey guys, we have word from phpbb.com that the Beta Version of phpbb 3.0 will be released in a few weeks. At that time we will be upgrading the ScionLife forums to the new software.

The new software will add MANY new features to our forums, but will also change the way that many of our current features work. Luckily, many of the modifications that have been added to our forum software will be included in the new software.

I ask that during this transition we can just be patient as I am not really sure how the upgrade will affect the usability of the forums. I will have ALL posts backed up, so there will be no risk of data loss or corruption.

That's a long list of new features, hopfully the beta won't have too many bugs.
