In the posting options HTML is OFF, BBCode is ON, and Smilies are ON.

I cannot edit my profile to turn HTML ON.

I am trying to link to off-site images, and all of the HTML is "non-functional" (the code is fine, but doesn't work)

...... and yes, I have cleared cache, cookies, and logged out.

 

HTML can not be turned on. This is to prevent people from inserting damaging code like javascript, etc, that could hijack the page.

To link an image use the 'img' tag.
