I don't know if it's all about age, some people are just car people. I am 36 and been into car's from day one. Started with speedracer, hotwheels, drawing car's, building models, THEN THE REAL THING . I will mess with anything with wheels. I guess what i'm trying to say is there are people who buy their car, trucks, or box because it get's good gas mileage or it was a good deal. But then there are those of us who buy it because we see a blank canvas on which to perform our art. Some of us have differnt taste and ideas about what look's good or what's cool but that's what makes the world such neat place. Those who don't get it, never will.

Good points. I feel the same way. I've always loved cars, I got it from my dad. He took me and my bro to shows and races as kids, so we both grew up total car guys.

I did consider MPG when buying my xB because I have a long trek to school. But the uniqueness and 'blank canvas' thing made me pick it over something like a Civic or Corolla.

Well, I guess I fit the older than dirt category..... First car was a '63 VW beetle, 1200cc 6volt electrics. owned a lot of cars since then, but I love my xB! It's different than anything else on the road. 18" wheels, billet grill, blue cathodes... having a ball! I ride a motorcycle every day, bought the car because it's so much fun.... (have a '69 Triumph Mark III in the garage).... If I want fast, I'll take the bike. I put my vote in the highest age category, which wasn't nearly high enough...... I have 5 grandkids who think I'm the coolest gramps going!

30 here! First car was a 92 Plymouth Laser (manual), then a 94 Ford Probe, then drive that lovely 94 Subaru SVX. After a big time financial crisis, I was driving a 92 Tercel. Finally, own a tC now, which is one of the best thing that happen to me this year.

37 Here.... I drive an XB by choice not financial need. I bought it based on form an originality. I have other cars that fit other needs (see my sig). But the XB is my new fave. I also mod everything even the Volvo get IPD parts...BTW my son who is almost 4 loves it too...and he felt slighted since he could not vote :D

22/F here... First car was a 1996 Grand Prix GTP (still have but for sale), and I just put $5,500 of my own money down on my White tC. I love it! I love cars, I love Toyota's build quality and reliability and I am so happy with my decision to get a tC.
