ok, well i want to edit my profile, but when i get to my profile, the system logs me out, i cnnot veiw anyones profile without being logged out.
nor am i automatically logged in on every visit
i am confused, please help me

Hmmm.... try following those directions one more time to the letter. I have yet to come across one person that it did not work for. A few have claimed it didn't work, but when I talked them through it then it magically worked.

 

ok i went to "tools"
then "internet options"
then "delete files"
got an hour glass
then it says to delete some offline stuff, so i do
but maybe im not sure about what you mean by, "restart your browser"

 

close it, then open it back up.....mm, duh.

 

hayalex6, some people aren't as computer literate as others, no need to add more frustration. Please be a little more respectful.

But he is right, it does mean that you need to shut down all of your browser windows after changing those settings and open a NEW window, then go back to the site and log in freshly. That should solve the problem.

 

i've done it multiple times, even restarted my comp 3 times, to no avail, this is so fustrating

it's not the files...
it's the cookies you want to delete.

ok.. problem fixed! he had to manually delete the cookies... had trouble doing so.
