I tried to change it to all topics but it just keeps going back to the 2 weeks.

 

that has no effect, it reverts back to "2 Weeks" after clicking Go. the desert & salt section is almost empty...

and uh.. looks like alot of old stickies aren't being displayed...

 

Went to the tC Wheel & Tire section to check on the Stickied NEW Wheel Chart and there's none at all even trying to show All Topics like the pic that was posted. I searched and found it and noticed it was "Splitted" on like the 19th, what does that mean?

 

lol apparently there are NO threads in the Boston area.... and theres only 2 pages in the wheel forums..... what happened to all of our threads???

at least all my posts are still there i would have been furious... i worked hard for all 16k posts

um.... my part out thread is missing along with the thread for my wheels..... what gives?

 

^^it seems they put the default setting to show threads that are only 2 weeks old, so anything that is older wont show up, even if the last posts are new

 

Ya, the 2 Weeks things does just what jsq was saying. You can change it to All Topics and click Go, but it doesn't do it, continues to stay on 2 weeks.

 

hmm.. more threads seemed to pop up i put it on "all topics" a few minutes ago..
(well.. it did... now it doesn't work again..)

and dave... do you really wanna advertise that you're a post *****? then again everyone pretty much knows that already..

2nd the 2 week thing doesnt bring my classifieds back they are all recent, and they dont even show up in my history.

i need to sell my parts asap im leaving...

 

tC Owner's Lounge is still missing all stickies (Announcements are still there though). And it looks like any other time frame works EXCEPT All Posts.

 

All I can say is that if there has been no post made in any topic in the past two weeks it by default will not display.

Beyond that all of this is a total surprise to me, also.

Was out this afternoon hitting post office, three stores, and getting some groceries, plants, electronics, etc.

Got back to apartment and got urgent txt msg from ack154.

Immediately called Adrian at IB and asked what happened after taking a quick look at this thread.

He called back with essentially what I posted up here about the change in defaults.

There, we all all caught up, now. You know as much as I do.

Basically, ScionLife.com had been running since 2003 and until folks in Sepulvada started screwing with things, it kept running.

All I can do is yell, scream, and flap my arms.

It's up to the folks at Internet Brands to fix (or un-break) ScionLife.

I've done what I can.

At least they usually answer the phone when I call.

I just wish these people (IB) would realize that they can't go around changing this crap and not telling ANYONE. You can't just go around changing people's internets without saying something about it.

Not to mention that they should really be focusing all efforts (apart from keeping this site functioning) to getting the upgrade done. If this was a project in a real corporation it would be so damn far behind someone's ___ would be out the door.

Just hang in there. As far as we know it's still there... they just need to undo the crap they did.

 

How responsive is IB to problems such as these? I mean, there have been quite a few problems with the forum within the last month or two. Possible to shop around for a new company to get SL or what?

 

 

Hell, I just dropped by Sponsored Sales (I figured if IB kept anything working it would be the stuff by the folks who pay them money to be able to sell on ScionLife.)

Obviously I guessed wrong.

Under current defaults the first page,

shows there are four pages of sponsored sales topics.

Can not get to ANY of them beyond the first page.

Click any other page and *!fooP* right back to page one.

I'm beyond even being able to react coherently to the ƒµç£¡˜©% $&%#$ **&%^ )(F#@ *H$%%^() we are seeing from R%&*^IY.

(I was told this afternoon after reporting this to IB that they think they can have us on new software in maybe a month and a half, unless they break something (You think? Maybe?) and it takes longer. Once they get ScionLife.com onto software they understand we probably won't have problems like this.

(Why then, just WHY has it been put off over and over and over again? We re months behind on the cutover to vB we were promised a year ago.)

I'm pulling the plug for the night. If something breaks worse than it already has, the SuperMods can get hold of me via text and voice.

I wonder how long it would take to organize a Scion Cruise to El Segundo?
