OK, I am feeling this also.... but I am thinking that it might need to be a little more exclusive? Should we limit those who can REPLY to topics to those who own FI Scions? Anyone could post a new topic, but answers could only be supplied by those who are in the know. I think that might provide the easiest and most trustworthy format.

There are quite a few people who have usable knowledge that don't actually have thier personal car boosted. I spent most of the day today (and tomorrow) helping to install a Blitz SC on one of my club members xB.

I like the idea of a FI forum, just not the exclusive part.

i dont know about the select people answering questions. im not FI but i guarantee you that im pretty knowledgeable with FI and can answer a lot of noobies and basic level stuff for many people. it just sounds kind of discriminatory IMO. we still allow xBers and xAers to answer in tC so why should it be different for FI. just my .02.

I definitley think the f/i forum would be a good thing. As for making it exclusive, that wouldnt bother me. I am knowledgable and am boosted.... Also, just because someone knows alot about f/i, doesnt mean they will give someone correct info about boosting a scion. I know alot about turbos and have another turbo car (supra)... The scions are a totally different ballgame than anything I have EVER messed with. Between the stupid returnless system, the in tank regualator and other crap, there are alot of strange things going on.... So maybe making it exclusive for the answering of questions would be a good thing... But its not me that makes that decision... Ok, enough rambling...

I don't think limiting the reply is a good thing. Everyone will just go into the registry and say they are FI.

FI section for xa/xb and another for tC.

Yes, seperate sections for xA/xB, and one for tC! And not exclusive.

Ya know, I've answered one heck of a lot of questions in various fora here, not because MY xB has a particular mod/accessory/problem/need, but because I have a solid, valid, rational answer.

I think the idea of an F/I forum is a good one. I think restricting it to only those with F/I on a Scion they own is bad.

Not everyone with F/I knows what they are doing, and not everyone who knows what they are doing has F/I...

Driving a Scion with F/I does NOT automatically make one a geenyus...
