There will only be 1 generation of xB. Don't see the need for this kind of label. xB is a one generation vehicle. Unless someone knows more than they are letting on???

 

Like you said in your other post--I am tired of thinking about it. We should know something soon. I just think they will be making a mistake to not have the box!

 

I suspect we will be seeing an 'Americanized' version of the latest bB now being sold in Japan, but have no idea if they will continue the xB name on it or come up with a new designation.

I'm hoping for a new designation - the original xB is the only xB.

I just don't see that thing selling over here like the xB did. Just looks too much like the PT and we all know how well they are selling. LOL (mighty big rebates on those suckers)

Could you see those ugly things showing up at our meets and wanting to be accepted. If that happens we will need to have clubs for only the original xB's IMO.

 

I have seen mixed feelings about the new bB. Some like it and others hate it---not unlike non Scion folks feelings about the xB. I have seen the post that the guy did where he placed the xB next to the new bB. I have to say that I would want to see it for myself before making a final decision. You may remember that when the PT first came it was going for MAJOR money above MSRP. Basically the market is flooded with them. Damned by their own success. I will always be partial to the box-and will hate to see it totally changed--but I guess that is inevitable..................

 

The reference of the "2nd gen" is merely to indicate whichever vehicle is going to replace the xB. It probably won't be the "xB" as you're all saying, but the forum for speculation and rumors has to be called something and it might as well be lumped in with the xB for now until there is some concrete info on it.

For now I want to differentiate between the replacement vehicle and the current vehicle. As you can see, there are new forums for 2008- replacement rumors, etc. Don't stress out too much about it guys, things will constantly change and evolve on this site.
