The site is very fast now. People tend to complain about slow loads, but never thank you when it picks back up.

Thanks, Max! I appreciate that a lot. Its tough being on this end of the site, especially when you are not a server technician! We are running on four servers right now:
1. Web Server
2. SQL Server
3. Ad Server
4. Email Server

Trust me, the monthly check to keep this site fast makes me want every thank you I can get.

Yup! The site has held steadily fast since about when we were talking about spider bots. IIRC you made some changes to calm them down a bit, were there any other concurrent changes? Whatever it was you did about that time frame was a good move.

A lot of what sped up the site was how memory was managed on the SQL server. We put the entire database into RAM -- sped up the server two-fold!
