Not sure if you've corrected your problem or not......but.....

If you bought LED's, then turn them 90 degrees and give em another shot. They only work with the proper polarity. If they're incandescent bulbs, then yeah...the copper wire isn't contacting properly.

YES I KNOW WHICH RUBBER COVERS WORK!!!

The autometer deal is what I beleive the guy who started this thread used-I got automoeter an dthey look EXACTLY the same.

They were $4 for 3 covers (they came in apackage). They are autometer shift light boots-#3512 for the green (I believe the other colors just change the last 2 numbers?)

They worked great!

I will try to post photos tonight or tomorrow of the finished project as well as the exact product in packaging I used.

Hey greybox. Are these the ones you used? Part #3215 close to what you said. And were the covers a perfect easy fit? Thanks.

Yeah, that looks like them and the price and the number per pack is right. Brand is right to so I am assuming I either misread the number or they just changed the number but that is them

Cool thanks.

But after looking further, think I might go with the corvette c5 blue led's.

Only wish they accepted paypal, but oh well.

The only place I've found the LEDs, hotbox05, is on Oznium. Will you offer any links?

I soldered new leds into my gauge closter and instrument panel. The only problem Is I cant get the led i soldered in for "N" netural working. I have p, d, r, 2, l lighted up in blue led, but for some reason the neutral led doesnt work... I tried 3 different leds on that connection point and it still didnt work. Did I somhow burn out the connection points on the mothebrpard for the N logo? Is there a way to fix this, although its not that big of a deal.

I installed a pair of blue 'corvettes' from Oz today. Plastic backing on them is much softer than the stock ones, and they really started to tear up from the screwdriver. Lights up the center dial perfectly, but could be brighter on the AC/Defrost buttons and the far left and far right dials. Stock bulb sort of does the same, I suppose.

Now to get the stock radio in blue...
