Yeah and those 2 tabs were a _____ to get out. But after the first was out the second was easier..eh?
Glad to help
-Inazuma

Yup the second was easier. I was having some trouble with the first so before I was even done I started on the second one. When I realized that it was just two tab's holding the second one on, I went back to the first and man handled that shizznit.
I just remembered something that was listed above on how to take the bumper off. There are these two pain in the ___ tabs that connect the bumper to just under the headlights on both sides (one on each side). Once I took all of the bolts off these were the only two things holding it in place.

I just cleared mine too, But I used the oven method. I think that it works great. This hammer hitting stuff seems a little crazy. I will probably take you the same amount of time to put the thing in the oven, as it does to chip that stuff out!!! And teh oven method is really easy!

It probably is easier, but i was concerned with leakage and maybe lens discoloration in the future.
I took my time and patience (which i normally don't have) and did it 100% without scratches.. I recommend the hammer method.
Itsdchz did and excellent job on the "how to" exactly how i did it a few months ago.

Just my 2 cents.

Great job. Where were you two weeks ago when I did mine. I switched my blulbs to blue. When they are sitting and turned off it shows blue, when I turn on the turn signals and they flash they flash white. Does anybody know positively if this is legal or not. It looke totaly cool but if it an invitation to a ticket I may switch to the bulbs talked about above that are clear and flash amber. Thx

i just cleared mine yesterday and it was a battle. it would break but little pieces where the lens clips in and are almost unreachable. one headlight is kinda scratched up. anything you can do to possibly get rid of scratches inside?? i figured i'd just smoke the turn signal to help hide the scratches.

Where do you have the link to the emblem light up? My bro is about to get an xB and I wanna show him some cool ideas to do that won't set him behind while he makes car payments and saves up for wheels. Thanks.

I like your tech on the clear corners, I'll have to show him that one too. Came out looking really nice.

Default clear corners

the orange reflectors, do they clip into the housing? and if so, after breaking them is it possible that the places where they are clipped in will be broken off inside the housing and be stuck there? i may have worded my question terribly but im sure someone will understand what i am talking about.

I bought from these folks. $7 each. I tried high quality LED's as well with led's placed around the perimeter of the bulb as well as facing out, but they didn't get as bright as these bulbs (MFG name is ADJURE)

Are cleared corners legal?

...or legal only if you have the aformentioned amber bulbs?

Default Are your cleared corners legal?

Not legal, not in Pennsylvania. Regardless of bulb, the lack of reflector gave one cop an absolute hard on. If I leave a regular bulb, I can't imagine a cop noticing. He (the cop visiting my neighbor) didn't notice my front bulbs until the illegality of my rear lights piqued his interest.

I just walked away from the dick. He was dead wrong on a few points he tried to make and he wasn't in his uniform. If you are standing in my yard, you really should relax a little. HE FREAKED!!!

Moral of the story, not legal.....in PA

those front bulbs can be legal if they illuminate amber or white , not blue , and front turn signals do not need reflectors in ca but rear reflector are required in every state i believe.
