i've been doing research and looking around, but i still can't decide which color/combo tails would look best on a csm. would love smoke, but they look a little brown to me. the tyc's are just blah. chrome, clear, red, other...?

Anzo's are nice on csm, you can also look at the slightly smoked version of them too.

smoked does look hot, and the smoked tyc's look hot too (pricey though).

so now for my noob question... how do you smoke tyc's, or any other tail light/head light for that matter.

I've been thinking about getting tint/smoke-overlays. Would anyone suggest those for smoking your tails?

 

Is that legal? Ive been wanting to put on a slightly tinted overlay just to tone down the chrome in my TYCs but I still want to see into the tails.

I dont mean to threadjack , that question just popped in my head and now I want to put an overlay on. srry

That's true. I only use the darker tint from him, and you can somewhat still see the tails in the daytime on sunny days. I love them more on cloudy days tho. ;)

you could always get the 08 lights...

Personally i like the color scheme just not how they arrange the lights. i can't think of a reason why one of the cricles is just a simple reflector. i wish they kept it simple when they designed the new tails...

 

There is one reflector because the DOT requires a refelector on the rear if clear lens are being used.

 

i have a BSP tc with the tyc tails. i got them smoked by jonstintedtails and they look amazing. just barely see the red and chrome if the sun shines and see all colors completely at night. ill take pics if you guys wanna see
