Default BAD SELLER Viper5780

well, heres my story: i bought a pair of tc headlights that the seller said were in good condition. well upon opening the box i noticed that the d/s headlight had cracks all along the bottom front section. i contacted the seller and he told me that they still seal and that i got them for a good price so i shouldn't complain. i did get a couple of pics but they were taken from atleast 4 feet away so you couldn't see any cracks so i figured he did actually have the headlights he was selling and he did say that they were good condition so i bought them. now you think he would mention something like this wouldn't you? i know i would but insead of telling me about the damage he just pawned them off on me and also deleated the f/s thread that i posted in. if anyone would like to see the pics please let me know as i would be more than happy to post them. i also asked him for a partial refund at witch point he basically told me to f... off. i'm pretty sure a partial refund is not too much to ask after he sold me damaged goods that were supposed to be in "good condition".
oh ya, he also told me not to complain because he also gave me free factory hi/lo bulbs. i really came up there.

Sorry to hear you purchased from an @ss. I am receiving a set of the 08 tc headlights this Friday, and if all goes well on the install, I have an OEM set from a 2006 that I'd be willing to sell if you're interested. They are in very good condition, especially since they have had 3M clear protectant on it since the day it was bought. I also have a used set of aftermarket projector headlights from a friend that I've never installed yet.

Either case, I hope you paid with Paypal and can file a claim against them.

i thought about filing a claim but they would just tell me to send them back and i would have to eat shipping on that and then he would just sell them to someone else. please pm me with a price for what you can do for 1 driver side stock headlight with shipping to 95758. thanks.

man, i sure do. i was a pleasure doing business with you, i wish everyone here was that easy to work with. this is the second time i've been screwed here.i wish we had better rules here. on supra forums you can't post a fs thread for a stock part unless you have 100 (meaningful) posts and not aftermarket parts unless you have 200. the only down side to that is that good people with cool parts won't get to sell them.
i hate scammers, they need to die.

i had your experiences in the past, thats why i keep everything local.....just these past few days i had a strut bar for sale (if you look into the fs section) and this one guy kept on insisting me to ship it. he made me laugh my @ss off when he said this one line " i'll give you my address and you ship it, then i give u the money" hahah i was like wtf?? you can't go to like mcdonalds and eat a big mac then pay them afterwards.......that was the stupid **** i ever heard.......i don't think he was a scammer because he insisted that at least he had people to back him up and that i didn't have any buyer/seller experience..... i could have had you and a lot others here on SL to back me up but whatever i wasn't the buyer anyway............ so yeah sorry for blabbing so much........just be careful and i hope everything works out!! later buddy
