Default Low beam harness help!

So last night my driver's side low beam decided to go out on me. Hoping for the best I checked the bulb and the fuse to see if either one had blown but they turned out fine. So I look on the inside of the plug where the bulb goes in and sure enough one of the metal prongs is burnt brown and the socket is slightly warped from the heat. So this weekend I'm gonna see if I can buy an aftermarket harness at a nearby shop. But before I do that, I was wondering how I'd go about replacing the fried harness? Fast answers would be much appreciated!

Pretty simple. Just cut off the old harness and solder (or tape) the new harness in.
Do you have aftermarket light bulbs?

Yea, I had Luminics bulbs on my car for over a year. I was pleased with them but I guess my harnesses couldn't handle them anymore Thanks for the quick reply man! :D Gold star for you!

If you plan on keeping your Luminics bulbs in, you should upgrade BOTH of your low beam harnesses. I've heard too many horror stories of the Luminics burning up the stock harnesses.

I guess I've become a victim of Luminics Yea I checked the other side and the harness isn't looking too good either so I'll be upgrading 'em both Funny thing is that the bulbs still look fine. lmao

Yeah many stock harnesses can't handle the wattage jump. Get a soldering iron or electrical tape and replace them.
