View Full Version : Negative Offset? Correct me if I am wrong, but these are not going to fit an xB are they? Sid_xBicious 10-04-2004, 04:29 PM unless you are a low rider, or you have to put some mad fender flares. whats the width? size? got some pics? this has -32 et 8.5 width at the rears, -25 et 8 width front http://www.genetjin.com/public/Misc/new1.JPG the_saint 10-05-2004, 03:03 AM -42? They make wheels with that high of an offset? Please excuse my ignorance if they do. :? DenZinz 10-05-2004, 05:19 AM You mean that low? Yes they do... the_saint 10-05-2004, 01:14 PM You mean that low? Yes they do... Yeah, low....you undermeant what I stood. :D RogerTTR 10-05-2004, 10:30 PM What diameter wheels are you looking for? wgeee7478 10-05-2004, 10:50 PM I think they would fit if you used some spacers. Probably the One Ton Garage ones are your best bet. Not sure if their is a clearance problem with the front though, I think if you got 7" width it should be OK. chucksu 10-05-2004, 10:55 PM I think they would fit if you used some spacers. He was asking if a -42 would fit. That one pic has -32, so if you put a 5mm space on a -42 wheel, you would get -47  Would the tire even be under the car any more? wgeee7478 10-05-2004, 11:02 PM I think they would fit if you used some spacers. I'm sorry, I thought it would be a 38, never really could figure out how to calculate that. chucksu 10-06-2004, 04:20 AM I think they would fit if you used some spacers. With that when you do the 5mm space it would be a +38, we are in the - offset range, so its a whole other math game. wgeee7478 10-06-2004, 04:58 AM Now I get it. Alright thanks, I needed to be learned. :D littleblackbox 10-06-2004, 12:28 PM ok, just for an update , the informed me that is was a typo on his part and they are a +45 offset, which sounds alot better. For awhile there thou I thought I'd was going to be the only xB rolling Indycar style, LOL :) chucksu 10-06-2004, 05:43 PM ok, just for an update , the informed me that is was a typo on his part and they are a +45 offset, which sounds alot better. Sid_xBicious 10-06-2004, 07:34 PM dude before you buy spacer, search on shims too. then decide whats good for your apps. ScionVan sells those. oh, thats for the rears only, he does have spacers available too. http://www.onetongarage.com/ this is his site. my 2 cents, |
